What you need to know about a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)
What is a Brazilian Butt Lift?
A Brazilian Butt Lift is butt augmentation procedure which results in a more sensual body profile, with youthful, prominent buttocks.
It is a surgical procedure that involves a transfer of natural fat to the buttocks. In fact, it uses your own fat. That is why it is the most natural way to augment your buttocks. It is a safe form of plastic surgery for long lasting beautiful results. Unlike implants, your own body fat is soft and won’t shift.
The buttock is an area that easily shows signs of aging. Over the years, it can begin to drop and fail to keep the look people desire to have. With the Brazilian Butt Lift, you can avoid this natural aging effect.
How is the BBL performed?
The Brazilian Butt Lift is a surgical procedure that uses fat grafting and liposuction. The fat is taken from body parts with excessive fat cells. After that, the fat is carefully processed and purified for transfer to the buttocks. The fat will be injected through small incisions that are made in the buttock area. The fat will be grafted in natural layers, to achieve a natural looking, smooth result.
In or out-patient: outpatient, the length of the operation varies from 1 to 4 hours, depending on the complexity and the scope of the surgery
Anesthesia: the BBL is performed under general anesthesia.
Tumescent Liposuction: a thin tube called a cannula, which is attached to a powerful vacuum device inserted through the incision to loosen the fat. Then the fat is extracted from the body by using a surgical vacuum or syringe attached to the cannula.
Transfer: the injection of the sterilized fat into the buttock muscle and deep fat tissue of the gluteal region.
