Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive scalp treatment that delivers small, targeted injections of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, hyaluronic acid, and sometimes pharmacologic agents directly into the skin around hair follicles. Performed with fine needles or specialized mesotherapy devices, the procedure aims to nourish follicles, improve local blood flow, and reduce inflammation; treatments usually involve an initial series of sessions followed by periodic maintenance visits.

Mesotherapy is often recommended for hair thinning and early-stage hair loss such as androgenetic alopecia, but clinical evidence of effectiveness is mixed and outcomes vary between individuals. Side effects are usually mild—temporary pain, redness, swelling, or bruising—but there is a small risk of infection or allergic reaction, so consultation with a dermatologist or hair specialist is advised to determine suitability and how it might be combined with other treatments like topical therapies or surgical options.
