Single-Hair Graft
Single-hair grafts are individual follicular units containing a single hair that are surgically harvested and transplanted into the recipient area to achieve fine detail and natural appearance. They are commonly used at the front hairline, in eyebrow reconstruction, and in areas where subtle density and delicate directional control are important to blend transplanted hair with existing hair.
These grafts can be obtained with techniques such as follicular unit extraction (FUE) or follicular unit transplantation (FUT) and are often combined with multi-hair grafts to balance natural-looking hairline definition and overall density. The success of single-hair grafting depends on careful graft handling, precise recipient site creation, and appropriate post-operative care to maximize graft survival and the final aesthetic outcome.
