Fat Grafting BBL

Fat Grafting (BBL)

Fat Grafting (BBL) is a surgical technique that uses autologous fat to increase volume and reshape the buttocks. During the procedure a surgeon performs liposuction to remove fat from donor areas such as the abdomen, flanks or thighs, processes and purifies the harvested fat, and then carefully injects small amounts into multiple layers of the buttock to create a fuller, smoother contour while improving overall body proportions.

Results can vary because some of the transferred fat will be naturally reabsorbed, and additional procedures may be needed to reach the desired volume. Potential complications include contour irregularities, fat necrosis, infection, scarring and—rarely—fat embolism, and recovery typically involves activity restrictions, monitoring for complications, and realistic expectations about gradual changes as swelling subsides and surviving fat stabilizes.
