The Aim of the UK’s National Pharmacy Association

They believe that pharmacies play an important role in reducing pressure on the NHS and making healthcare more accessible to the general public.

Renowned UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who began his career at his mother’s pharmacy, also strongly supports the NPA and recognizes the critical role that local pharmacies play. Drawing on his firsthand knowledge of the essential contributions made by these pharmacies to the wellness of the UK population, Sunak highlights the significance of providing individuals with easy access to healthcare services at local pharmacies, eventually relieving the strain on GP waiting lists.
