MCAN Health was first accredited by TEMOS in 2020, and after three years, the re-accreditation audit process began in 2023. We successfully met all of TEMOS’s quality standards! Why is Temos Accreditation Important?
TEMOS is a global quality program that rigorously audits healthcare institutions to ensure they meet unique standards and criteria for patient safety, high-quality care, and ethical practices.
When considering a medical procedure in Turkey, it is critical to check the company’s national accreditation from the Ministry of Health. It is also advisable to look for other accreditations from independent audit organizations to ensure safety and quality. Given that one’s health is the most valuable asset, it must not be jeopardized. The TEMOS accreditation recognizes that MCAN Health:

In 2020, MCAN Health embarked on a pioneering journey to obtain TEMOS accreditation, demonstrating its dedication to vision and quality in the field of medical tourism in Turkey. This accreditation was granted for three years and required annual re-audits to maintain standards. Following the successful completion of accreditation for the 2020-2023 period, MCAN Health, motivated by its ongoing commitment to providing high-quality and secure medical tourism services, has begun the accreditation process once more. MCAN Health’s success in passing the rigorous audit can be attributed to its well-established professional workforce, strong work culture, and adherence to high-quality standards, prioritizing a code of ethics and patient satisfaction as core values.

This way, you’ll know exactly what’s happening before you arrive, have someone with you during your time in Turkey, and receive personalized attention with clear aftercare instructions. And guess what? Our hardworking, multilingual nurses handle all of this!
You are Never Alone with MCAN Health
We also go above and beyond by providing hotel nurse visits to patients undergoing plastic surgery. After your operation, our nurses visit you at the hotel to change dressings, check your vital signs, remove drains, assist you in showering and wearing your garment, guide you on post-op medications, explain aftercare instructions, and generally be there for whatever you need. In addition, our nurses are available online at all times in case of an emergency. We are incredibly proud to be the only medical travel company in the industry providing this level of service and care. And, because we’re all about improving things, we began conducting surveys in June 2019, including the Net Promoter Score (NPS), to gather feedback from our patients on our team, the hospitals and doctors we work with, hotel services, and transportation. While uncommon, we want you to know that if you experience any complications or are dissatisfied, MCAN Health will be there for you every step of the way. We consult two independent plastic surgeons to seek objective opinions, and if corrective surgery is required, we will be your advocates to ensure that it is performed at no additional cost to you.
